What can I expect on the tour? 

The Tower of London Guided Tour

The Tower of London, with its infamous background of imprisonment, murder and execution, is a fascinating historical castle that has played an important role in British history. 

The fortress was founded in 1606 as part of the Norman Conquest, when William the Conqueror began the construction of the White Tower, giving the site its name. 

It has been used as a prison, a royal residence and an execution site. The last person to be executed there was in 1941, and over the years spies, criminals and even queens have met their bloody end by the executioner's hand at the tower, including famous prisoners such as Guy Fawkes, Anne Boleyn and Lady Jane Grey.

Borough Market:

Once the tour at the Tower of London is over you´ll board the classic red bus again and head off into the city, with a stop at Borough Market. Dating back to 1014, Borough Market is ones of London´s oldest and largest food markets.

Modern day Borough Market is a prolific buzzing hub of street food where you will find everything from traditional British food products to delicious international cuisine. You´ll have plenty of time to look around the market at your own pace, and try some of the delicious food available before continuing on to our last stop. 

Westminster Abbey: 

Westminster Abbey has graced London with its magnificence for over 1,000 years. It´s breathtaking arquitecture and impressive interior have played a major role in British history, with kings and queens being crowned here since 1066, as well as being the resting place for more than 3,000 Britons, including 17 monarchs, notable literary figures like Charles Dickens, and famous scientists such as Isaac Newton and Charles Darwin, and more recentely, Professor Stephen Hawking. 

Enjoy a guided tour of the Abbey, learn all about its long and fascinating history, and marvel at this impressive structure.
